When the person you have cared for moves to residential care or passes away you may feel many emotions:
It can help to talk to someone who has time to listen and understands.
You could feel lost as you are not used to thinking about you. We talk to you about what you want and help you to take the next step. You decide when that is.
This is a free service providing friendly mentors who can help people who care for someone, who is now moving to residential care or has a life limiting illness. Carers can access the service at any stage from before to after change occurs.
The carer can self refer or they can give permission for someone else to do so.
